Climb a different mountain - Qingxu Mountain.

The wish to climb mountains in winter seems to have come true and yet it seems not to have come true 🏔Qingxu Mountain, also known as Gehong Mountain, is one of the eight ancient scenic spots in Tang County. It is located in Qijiazuo Township, Tang County, Baoding City, Hebei Province. Qingxu Mountain is a famous Taoist mountain, named because "the air of the four seasons is clear and warm, the world enters into nothingness, and it is detached from the material world." 🏯There are more than 100 temples, monasteries, nunneries and shrines built on the mountain since the Liao Dynasty. Many "gods" from all over the world gather here, making Qingxu Mountain a prosperous place. P5 is an aerial view of the temple taken not long after climbing. We went there on the fifth day of the Lunar New Year, and because we were welcoming the God of Wealth, there were a lot of people on the mountain. 🚗We drove there by ourselves, about an hour and a half from Baoding. If there aren't many people, you can drive directly to the cable car, but when we went there were many people, so we parked on the side of the road. There are also many paid parking lots outside, ranging from 10 yuan to 20 yuan. It's better to spend money to be safe. When we came out, two cars were tied up, causing traffic congestion. There is no entrance fee to this mountain, just a one-way cable car ride costs 35 yuan per person. 🏞This mountain is different from the ones we climbed before, it’s a little bit “wild”. There are also such roads in P8 and P9, which is why there are old people selling various trekking poles after entering. The wooden ones made by the old man himself cost about 1 yuan each. We didn’t buy anything at first, but as it became harder and harder to walk, we could pick up bargains on the roadside. Finally our trekking poles were left on the mountain. 🚩Before we came here, my dad told me that the highest point of this mountain is 998 meters above sea level. My sister and I scoffed at him and said that it was too low and it was a piece of cake. As a result, I almost couldn't get down. I was really tired. Don't worry about having nothing to eat when you go in. As soon as we enter, we see two rows of food and drinks, including grilled sausages, gluten 🍢, and milk tea. Going further in, we bought 6 pieces of gluten for 20 yuan, which is the normal price. Going further up, a bottle of mineral water costs 10 yuan. 🚡The cable car ride is quite long, but you only climb half of the mountain to get to the cable car. We were almost at the top of the mountain when we reached Nantianmen. There is a temple on the top of the mountain, and it is very popular. The last photo shows Taiji Lake on the way here, which looks like an emerald. We went around to the back of the temple to take a few photos, but there are no guardrails, so be sure to pay attention to safety if you go there!
