Cheung Fat Hong Kong Tea Restaurant is located in the bustling Ximending area. The owner is adorable and very friendly. You can stay as long as you like, and if you prefer, you can switch to a window seat. The main dining area is on the second floor, and the staff are all warm and welcoming ladies. We weren’t too hungry, so we just ordered some snacks: 👉🏻 🔸 Fish Roe Shrimp Siu Mai (4 pieces) - NT$110 This dish came highly recommended with a crown symbol, so we gave it a try ✅. The siu mai were firm and flavorful, perfect for sharing. 🔸 Fresh Shrimp Wonton Soup - NT$150 The aroma of the shrimp was delightful, and the soup was piping hot when served. Be careful when sipping it 🤣. The wontons were generously sized, with five pieces in total. 🔸 Stocking Milk Tea - NT$95 🔸 Hong Kong-Style Pineapple Bun with Butter - NT$55 These two items are must-orders when enjoying Hong Kong-style cuisine! The pineapple bun was even pre-sliced for us, which was a thoughtful touch. 🔸 Seasonal Vegetables - NT$220 The owner highly recommended this dish 🤣, perhaps out of concern for the nutritional balance of those who eat out often. So cute! Alright, we’ll eat our veggies. 🔸 Almond Tofu Pudding - NT$95 For dessert, we chose this! The almond flavor was rich, and the pudding-like texture was delightful. If you’re not afraid of almond flavors, give it a try.
