Five must-eats in Taipei

Here are my personal recommendations for going to Taipei! 1️⃣ No Lao Hot Pot (Zhongshan Branch) 📍Address: No. 36-1, Section 2, Zhongshan North Road, Zhongshan District, Taipei 104, Taiwan (near Zhongshan Business District) On the day of eating hot pot, the online reservations were full, so I decided to wait for a table at noon to try my luck. There was not much crowd that day, so I was lucky to wait for 10 minutes to be seated. We ordered the Yuen Yuen Hot Pot, which is tofu white soup and spicy hot pot soup, the best beef and pork double ✨, signature ball smooth double ✨, water lily ✨, egg dumplings ✨ and 2 ice cream tofu ✨. I would describe it as nothing to be picky about, whether the service quality is excellent, in terms of food, the soup is fresh and fragrant, the meat platter portion is plentiful and fresh, balls really eat to have grains of bouncy seafood inside, water lily vegetables are very refreshing and crispy, long like eating noodles quite addictive, and unique egg dumplings and ice cream tofu as soft and delicious! 2️⃣ Liang Shan Park Xiao Long Soup Pack 📍Address: No. 54-4, Section 2, Hankou Street, Wanhua District, Taipei 108, Taiwan (near Ximending) This popular little steamed soup bun shop, Little Star, was already sold out when I thought about eating it during the morning hours. Fortunately, the store is convenient and close to Ximending. You can walk around for a while and then come back. The shop reopened at 5pm, the little star arrived at 7:30, the shop was already full of Japanese and Korean tourists and other foreign tourists, it was too popular to be sold out at 8pm😱 And found that there are many Taiwanese steamed buns with very thick skin, $ 100 Taiwan dollars can eat a plate of authentic steamed buns, seriously affordable 👍🏻 3️⃣Tiantianli Food Shop 📍Address: No. 1, Lane 32, Hanzhong Street, Wanhua District, Taipei 108, Taiwan (Located in Ximending) This Taiwanese restaurant has been busy for a long time, but fortunately I was able to be seated within 5 minutes of waiting. I immediately ordered egg oyster omelette, stewed pork rice and sand tea squid soup. I think the eggs, oysters plus sweet and sour thick sauce is simply a soul match, and the sand tea squid soup is a little like a bowl of wings, the taste is moderate, the stewed pork rice is not greasy, the viscosity and humidity are just right, the taste is not strong. The only flaw is the more crowded dining environment. 4️⃣ A Crispy Fresh Milk Crispy Donut Headquarters 📍Address: No. 61, Chengdu Road, Wanhua District, Taipei 108, Taiwan (near Ximending) Another shop to queue, but it was available after 5 minutes. It was already 8pm when we arrived, only the original fresh milk crispy donuts were left, and I saw the master frying donuts without stopping in the back😂, so the donuts I bought were hot, and the donuts were very big, crispy, covered with sweet icing, sweet as an after-meal snack 5️⃣ Ah Fai Noodle Line 📍Address: No. 52, Danan Road, Shilin District, Taipei 111, Taiwan (Located at Shilin Night Market) In the night market saw it had been recommended by Michelin, ordered a small bowl of comprehensive noodle line, 40 Taiwan dollars to have flower ball and large intestine ingredients of the noodle line, the value for money is quite high, stewed large intestine is small but quite chewy without fishy smell, the soup has the aroma of wood fish, the noodle line is relatively thick, the noodle line has a bite. Little Star prefers rich noodles, so compared to Ah Zong Noodles, which only has clear noodles, I chose Ah Fai Noodles for my personal preference #100 Ways to Travel
