I rarely choose to dine here. From my memory, the appetizers and duck breast stood out more than the other dishes. For weekday lunch, the price is NT$698 + 10% service charge per person, which includes a set meal for each individual. The set includes appetizers, soup, bread with spread, salad, main course, drinks, and dessert. The pricing is uniform for everyone. The restaurant also has a promotion offering a complimentary seafood platter worth NT$328, which is decently seasoned. Up until the bread course, including the appetizers and bread spread, the quality was above average and quite tasty. The bread itself was slightly underwhelming but refillable. Among the four of us, I was the only one who ordered the duck breast, which didn’t taste as good as I remembered. Simply put, the meat lacked flavor, likely due to being pre-cooked in a central kitchen and reheated at the branch. To achieve tender meat, additives like tenderizers were likely used. The steak was even worse—despite being marketed as whole-cut steak, the imported beef lacked marbling and was tough and dry. While the texture was softened by additives, the steak quality was inferior to thick-cut steaks priced at NT$200-300 in night markets. The service was highly rigid, with staff following mechanical procedures devoid of warmth. Everything seemed designed to rush you through your meal, settle the bill, and free up the table. The air conditioning in the restaurant was excessively strong, causing the heat from your food to dissipate noticeably within two to three minutes of being served. Overall, it felt like dining at a fast-food restaurant in terms of efficiency, despite being a Western-style restaurant.
