Suwon Travelers' Free Rest Area 'Haenggung Village Travelers' Lounge'

Located in Haenggung-ro, Paldal-gu, Suwon, it is also known as Haenggung Sarangchae. This hanok, completed in 1937, was used as a commercial building until recently and was the backdrop for the 1961 film 'The Guests of the Last Train' along with the well site. Due to residents' suggestions to preserve the architectural and cultural value of Haenggung-dong's tourist attractions, Suwon City purchased it in September 2020 and converted it into a space for travelers in 2022.
