Stockholm's must-see subway tour: Super Art Subway Station

#JanuaryGoodPlaces2025 Stockholm subway stations are famous for their unique designs. Many stations are carved out of rocks. Designers make use of the irregular surfaces of the rocks and incorporate local historical and cultural characteristics. We highly recommend buying a 24-hour ticket to visit. We looked at the recommendations on the Internet and selected a few must-see stations. After reading them, the following are the special stations we sincerely recommend, in the order of the pictures above: Blue Line: Figure 1. T-centralen: It is said that the artist painted the blue vines and floral patterns to create a comfortable and calm environment for passengers. Figure 2.3 4. Kungsträdgården (King's Garden): This station is like an underground garden. The theme is to commemorate the royal palace that was destroyed by a ruthless fire in the 17th century. It also houses relics from the former royal palace, and this portrait sculpture is one of them. Figure 5. Solna Centrum: This is a forest-themed station with a red sky surrounding the entire forest. Figure 6.7. Tensta: The theme of this large animal world comes from the fact that there are many residents from all over the world who immigrated to Sweden near this station. The artist wants to express his welcome to them to become a part of Sweden through these paintings and designs. Red Line: Figure 8. Tekniska Högskolan: This station is located next to the Royal Institute of Technology and has a strong scientific flavor. The artist used paintings, figures, sculptures and dodecahedrons to express the four classic elements of fire, air, water and earth. Figure 9.10 Stadion: This station was built to commemorate the Olympic Games held in Stockholm in 1912. The five colors of the rainbow represent the five rings of the Olympic movement.
