Sibu, Sarawak Recommended Hotels and Sightseeing

Sibu is located almost in the center of Sarawak. It is not too touristy and has a good old atmosphere. I stayed at several hotels in Sibu, but I would like to introduce the one I recommend the most. [Starlink hotel] Starlink Hotel. It is reasonably priced, well-cleaned, and has a wide range of amenities. There is a shopping mall [Mega mall] just a 2-minute walk away, so it is not particularly inconvenient. Across from the hotel, there is a shop selling snacks, cup ramen, drinks (including alcohol), etc., and within walking distance, there is a Chinese restaurant and a bar where you can drink cocktails. 📍Address: 2C, 13, Lorong Tunku Abdul Rahman 8A, Sibu, 96000 Sibu, Sarawak About 25 minutes from Sibu Airport. It is recommended to use grab or maxim from the airport. 🏖️Atmosphere/Facilities: Hair dryer, drinking water, toothbrush, comb, kettle, coffee, toilet paper, air conditioning, iron, TV, family rooms available, barrier-free rooms available. 💰Price per person: Approximately 100rm/night. Prices vary depending on room type and season. I stayed at this hotel and went to Sibu Night Market for dinner. They serve chicken and pork BBQ, douhua, shumai, bao, Malaysian snacks, etc. They also sell takeaway bento boxes, so it's recommended to buy them at the Night Market and eat them at the hotel!
