Shenyang Catholic Church

Located at No. 40, Nanlejiao Road, Shenhe District, Shenyang, Liaoning Province, Shenyang Catholic Church was built in the first year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1875). It is a typical Gothic building of the European Renaissance period and the largest and oldest Catholic church in Northeast China. The church is 66.3 meters long from north to south and 17.2 meters wide from east to west. It is a Gothic building with two bell towers stretching into the sky, about 45 meters high. It covers an area of about 1,100 square meters, with blue bricks and tiles and an arched ceiling, and can accommodate 1,500 people. Shenyang Catholic Church is a well-preserved religious building in Northeast China with high historical value and is suitable for viewing and taking pictures.
