Food adventure at must-try spots .... Shanghai !!!!

Food adventure at must-try spots .... Shanghai !!!! 🇨🇳 Today we went to Shanghai for a chill short trip, 3 days 2 nights. Life is all about eating, eating, eating!!! Whoever says food in China isn’t delicious, just look at this! For anyone planning to go to Shanghai or looking for places to visit, eat, and take photos, follow along. Every spot is definitely amazing 🤎 🌟Xie san bao Many people must know this place for sure. Recently, they even put up signs in English outside the shop. We’ve tried many places, but this one is our favorite. The staff are lovely too. This place has 2 branches; we like the People's Square branch best. 🌟% Arabica Rockbund branch For coffee addicts, Shanghai is the ultimate! There are so many coffee shops!!! We recommend this branch because the baristas, oops, the staff give great recommendations. Plus, in the Rockbund area, you can walk around and take beautiful photos. So pretty! 🌟The Upper Room A secret bar, really secret, super secret! But the view is stunning and the beer is delicious too. The bar is located on the 7th floor of Z Hotel, opens at 5 PM. You can’t go up before opening time 🤣 Also, we recommend adding the bar’s WeChat and messaging them before you go; someone will press the elevator button for you. 🌟Kanpai Yakiniku This place is in the Xintiandi area. Meat lovers must try this! The meat is excellent, and the atmosphere is great too. The staff are very friendly. 🌟Dumpling shop Actually, dumpling shops like the one in the picture are commonly found along pedestrian streets. We love them a lot. The dumplings are small and bite-sized, perfect for dipping in the shop’s chili sauce. Delicious! 🌟Bohemia bar in Tianzifang Bohemia bar is located in Tianzifang. Walk in through Gate 3; the bar is at the corner. The decor is amazing, the vibe is great, perfect for photos. The beer is tasty, and the pizza is excellent!!!!!!! If you come to Shanghai, don’t miss this place. The atmosphere inside is great, and sitting outside is super chill for a long time. 🌟Rice noodle roll shop, local food I have to say local food shops are very easy to find. We love Chinese rice noodle rolls a lot. They’re delicious, and the sauce is super flavorful!!!! You can choose your fillings too. The price is affordable, but the portions are generous!!!! You must try it! 🌟BUTTERFULL&CREAMOROUS CHENGDU ~ This is now my No.1 favorite dessert shop. Wherever I go, I have to buy from here 🤣 But this branch is super cute. They are currently collaborating with Valentino. Oh my, it’s so cute and looks luxurious!!! Go to the West Nanjing branch for sure. 🌟Goose Island Craft Beer Bar (Fengshengli Shop) As a beer lover, how could I miss this!!! All the beers here are craft beers, and they have a monthly special beer. The most popular menu item that every table orders is the beer tray with various flavors. Almost every table orders it. If you like this style, go! This shop is at West Nanjing. 🌟Omills Pudong International Airport T2 On your way back, if you fly from T2, stop by this shop. It’s super delicious!!!!!! Every menu item is tasty!! 💕We recommend these travel apps for China: - WeChat: Mostly used in China for payments, scanning to order food, and selecting menus. Many shops require ordering online via WeChat. - Alipay: Used for payments everywhere, linked to a Travel Card. It can do everything: call a Didi ride (you can type your name in English, super convenient), use the subway, pay for buses, make payments, scan to order items, all in one! - True Money: Used only for payments. You top up the app, scan to pay, or let the shop scan your barcode (linked with Alipay). Payments through True Money have no extra charges, no matter how much you scan. Scan away nonstop 🤣 - SH metro: Very easy to use. Just type your starting and ending stations, and the app will show which lines to take and where to transfer. - Baidu map: Works like Google Maps but you have to type in Chinese. It’s the most accurate. - Apple Map: Very convenient. Free visa life shanghai

Alleyway Wonderland in Shanghai’s Tianzifang 🏙️🛍️🌸 Tianzifang is a vibrant maze of quaint alleys packed with artsy boutiques, adorable stores, and local eats—a haven for the curious traveler looking for that “Shanghai secret spot” feel! 🗺️ Recommended Route: Start at the entrance on Taikang Road and zigzag through the cozy lanes, discovering unique shops at every turn. Take your time—stop wherever something catches your eye. The alleys are easy to wander and tucked away from the big roads, so soak up the relaxed vibe. 🍜 Must-Do Experiences: Explore the handmade craft stalls and pick up quirky souvenirs. Don’t miss the tiny galleries and studios. For a meal, duck into a restaurant just outside the main lanes for mouthwatering local and international dishes (personal tip: those spots usually have better prices and less bustle!). Stop for a coffee or dessert—many cafés here are Instagrammable and chill spots for a break. 📷 Top Photo Spots: Snap a shot under the fairy lights or beside vintage brick walls covered in murals. The colorful shopfronts and alley corners make for classic “Shanghai alleyway” shots—perfect for that farewell post before heading to the airport! 🧳 Practical Visiting Tips: Ideal for your last day—luggage storage is available in some shops, and you’re just a short ride to the airport. Tianzifang is open year-round, all day. Go earlier for cooler temps and quieter lanes. ⚠️ Key Precautions: Keep an eye out for higher prices right in the tourist lanes; explore side alleys for better deals. Watch your step—some alleys are narrow! #Shanghai #Tianzifang #UrbanExploration #LocalEats #DepartureDay
