Mingzhu Lake Day Trip, a top-notch 5A-level free attraction!

March 10th is a two-day rest day, I took my parents to Chongming Island for fun, and on the second day, we chose the ecologically excellent Mingzhu Lake, which I highly recommend spending a whole day to stroll around. 1️⃣ The release of the wild geese was stunning, with one show at 10:30 am and another at 2:00 pm. We were a bit delayed by strawberry picking and had to run to catch the morning show, but the sight of waves of geese taking flight was truly magnificent. ✨I suggest standing near the landing spot of the geese flock (not far from the riverbank) for better photo effects. After the release, you can also spend 6 yuan to feed the geese, and my dad had a great time doing it, haha. 2️⃣ Mingzhu Lake is quite large, but its layout is also very simple, divided into the left and right halves. ✨After watching the wild geese performance, I suggest walking slowly along the right side, stopping as you go, and circling back to the starting point. If you're not up for walking, there are also scenic shuttle buses and bicycles to choose from. 3️⃣ On March 10th, the weather was still a bit chilly, and there weren't many flowers in the park, just some February orchids and sporadic tulips, while peach and cherry blossoms had already bloomed. The flower buds weren't particularly big, but the grass was green, making it suitable for picnics. The scenery here should be even more beautiful in spring. 4️⃣ Recommended photo spots: lakeside reeds, swing bridges, pavilions, floating bridges, and a bamboo forest, all of which are very photogenic. 5️⃣ The bird and fish specimen museum is worth a visit, with a 47-year-old green fish being quite impressive. Also, the cormorant is a rather magical bird, standing neatly on poles, sunbathing without moving, and the national first-class protected animal, the finless porpoise, can also be seen at the park entrance, very cute. 6️⃣ There's always a little regret in every trip, we didn't experience the amphibious vehicle considering my parents' health, but I'll definitely try it next time! Overall, the day's trip was very fulfilling and happy, with fresh air, beautiful scenery, and a nice rest by the lake, a wonderful day!
