Sergey is the most popular town in the Golden Ring. It is only an hour's drive from Moscow. It covers almost all the day trips in the suburbs. If you don't join a tour group, you can take a train to the town and spend a day walking and taking photos. The whole city is not big but has a strong religious atmosphere. It is centered on the Holy Trinity Monastery, which is one of the oldest Orthodox buildings in Russia🇷🇺. It consists of several different main churches.
