Adult tea time at the Korean-style cafe "Sasa Cafe"

#KoreaTourism February 2023. Sasa Cafe, a Korean-style house cafe located on Seosung-gil, a street along the stone wall west of the Jongmyo Shrine, near Changdeokgung Palace. I follow them on Instagram, and their photos are always so beautiful. I've passed by them a few times, but they've always been closed or crowded, so I've never been able to go at the right time. I was finally able to visit this time. It's a very beautiful shop, and its simplicity is beautiful. I sat on the second floor, looking at the Jongmyo Shrine. The set in this photo costs about 950 yen, but the bottle is not filled with alcohol, but with a slightly sparkling, cloudy sake-like drink with no alcohol... but maybe it's a little alcoholic?! A dessert of lightly baked warm rice cakes topped with starch syrup and kinako. According to what I heard when I learned how to make flower cakes from a master of traditional food culture, starch syrup is very time-consuming, and it's no wonder that it has such a refined sweetness.
