As one of the representative buildings of Hokkaido's development period, this museum is a red brick building that still retains Western-style stained glass and the red star representing development. It looks beautiful from the outside and is full of historical significance. There is a restaurant on the ground floor, and free exhibition areas on the second and third floors that tell the history of Sapporo Beer. It was discovered during the pioneering period that the soil and water in Hokkaido were very suitable for growing beer raw materials, so this product was used to support the development of Hokkaido. After the exhibition, it is just right to go to the restaurant in the basement to try beer. It is recommended to buy three tasting packages here, which allow you to try the classic black label draft beer, classic draft beer and the pioneer ale with a replica of the pioneering era flavor at the same time. The CP value is very good. Personally, I like Pioneer Ale the most. The foam is indeed not as delicate as the new version of beer, but I just like the malt flavor and its rough feeling.
