[A place started with the desire to protect the beautiful rice terraces!]

📍Amakawa Rice Terraces, Ehime Prefecture Amakawa village is located in the upper reaches of the Daimyojin River, and in Amagaya in the west, there are 65 rice terraces (2.2ha). In order to protect the rice terraces, which are becoming dilapidated due to the aging of farmers and damage caused by wild animals, local farmers formed the "Amakawa Rice Terrace Preservation Society". They cultivate rapeseed flowers, milk vetch, and cosmos. In addition to the rice terraces where rice is grown, seasonal flowers are blooming in the currently fallow rice terraces, so you can enjoy the collaboration of the rice terraces and seasonal flowers.
