Stay in a seaside B&B!

My healing trip to Qinhuangdao was a very spontaneous decision. I was struggling with whether or not to travel for Mid-Autumn Festival when I suddenly got inspired, so I quickly booked a train 🚂 ticket to Qinhuangdao. 📍This B&B was the best decision of my trip. 1️⃣Price: Due to the holiday rush and limited room availability, I stayed in two different rooms over two days. Thankfully, they didn't raise prices for the Mid-Autumn Festival, and the larger room wasn't over 1,000 CNY. 2️⃣Location: Inside West Port Garden, about an 8–10 minute walk🚶 from the east gate. West Port Garden is an art district-like area in Qinhuangdao that was built just a few years ago. There are many cultural and creative shops, coffee ☕️ shops, and it's close to the 🌊sea, making it very artistic. There are also railway tracks inside the park, which are very beautiful. It's a bit like 798 Art Zone in Beijing. 3️⃣Transportation: The high-speed train from Beijing to Qinhuangdao takes less than 2 hours. After getting off the 🚉high-speed train, take a taxi directly to the east gate of West Port Garden, which takes about 25 minutes. The girl from the B&B can pick you up at the gate. If you have a lot of luggage, she can book a free shuttle for you. 4️⃣Overall, it's a great place to see the sea and relax. No need to go to Aranya and deal with the crowds~ I saw many people getting off at Beidaihe Station on the high-speed train. I guess they were all going to Aranya. Come to downtown Qinhuangdao to see the sea!
