Croatia's Jiuzhaigou - Plitvice Lakes National Park

⛱️Must-visit attraction: Plitvice Lakes National Park Plitvice Lakes area is the most beautiful national park in Croatia, consisting of 16 interconnected natural lakes, hence commonly known as the Sixteen Lakes. It covers a total area of 2000 hectares and stretches 10 kilometers. Plitvice Lakes was listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO's World Natural and Cultural Heritage Committee in 1980. 🌄Travel Guide: The 'Sixteen Lakes' meander through the valley in a banded pattern, divided into the Upper Lakes and Lower Lakes areas. The Upper Lakes area consists of 12 lakes with dolomite bottoms; the Lower Lakes area includes 4 lakes located in a limestone canyon, namely Milanovac, Gavanovac, Kaluđerovac, and Novakovića. Walking along the paths by the lakes, visitors can get close to the water. 🏨Accommodation Guide: Hotel Frankopan Restaurant is 50 kilometers from the park, making it convenient to visit Croatia's capital Zagreb, which is 100 kilometers away, the next day. 💗Other tips: You need to take a boat to enter the park, see picture 2. Then walk along the wooden paths by the lakes, ending with a hike to see the waterfalls. It was raining when we visited, so the waterfalls were large, but the lake water was not very clear. The whole trip takes 3 hours.
