The name "Kayoufeng" originates from the Paiwan language, meaning "be careful, walk slowly," a fitting reminder as the path to the waterfall is not an easy one. To reach Kayoufeng Waterfall, visitors must walk approximately 15 to 20 minutes from the trailhead.
