Big reclining Buddha, Wat Ku

#tripพาบินเที่ยวจีน Wat Koo, Koh Kret, Nonthaburi is an ancient Mon temple that is believed to have been built in the Thonburi period or the late Ayutthaya to early Rattanakosin periods, around 2295, in Bang Phut Subdistrict, Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi Province. It is a temple that stores the royal barge of Queen Sunandha Kumarirat, which sank in front of Wat Phraya Cheng and was salvaged at this temple. - The original Ubosot was built in a simple style with a front porch without a surrounding gallery. The paintings inside show Mon-influenced art in the form of angels, the life story of the Buddha, and Jataka tales. It enshrines Luang Pho Suksom Prathana. - The Reclining Buddha, the Reclining Buddha, is located opposite the new Ubosot.
