Osaka, The Food Capital Of Japan. Eat Like A King On A Budget.

Osaka is a must stop for any foodie out there and has some of the best food streets in Asia, it’s infamous for the Dotombori in particular. It’s also a lot more reasonable than Tokyo or Kyoto, so if you’re looking for a more budget friendly city then head to Osaka. ⭐️ Airport - The airport is located on a man made island in the bay and you can get a high speed train into the city centre. It’s cheaper and more efficient than taxis, coaches or buses. ⭐️ Hotels - Osaka has a really good range of boutique hotels, they offer really nice rooms with good amenities for a reasonable price. I stayed at the Lively Honmashi and was really impressed, most boutique hotels are located in this area called Umeda. ⭐️ Transport - The city is a very pedestrian friendly place with an efficient metro network, we got a metro ticket for the days we were there and used that mainly. In the evenings we used a few ubers and they were a lot cheaper than in Tokyo ⭐️ Food - This is what you really come to Osaka for! Every night we headed to the Dotonbori, it’s a famous area full of restaurants, street food vendors and walking streets. The buildings are covered in larger than life adverts for each restaurants they compete for customers.
