Fuji Views & Osaka Vibes. My October Wintery Japan Adventure

In October, I traded my normal routine for a trip that gave me the best of both worlds. The nature of Mt. Fuji and the electric sights in Osaka. Here’s where my journey took me. 1. Fujiyoshida & Mt. Fuji Stayed in Fujiyoshida, a quiet town with beautiful views of Mt. Fuji. It was a peaceful and convenient base to explore the area. Visited Oishi Park, which offers one of the best views of Mt. Fuji across Lake Kawaguchi. The seasonal flowers and calm atmosphere made it a perfect spot for photos and a slow morning walk. The view was clear and absolutely stunning 2. Osaka (a) Osaka Castle A must-visit landmark that offers both history and beauty. The castle is surrounded by a large park, stone walls, and a moat. I walked around the outer grounds, which were peaceful and full of greenery. Inside, the castle is now a museum with exhibits about Osaka’s history and samurai heritage. (b) Dotombori & Glico Sign This is Osaka’s entertainment and food district—The famous Glico Sign is located along the canal and is especially eye-catching at night when all the neon lights reflect on the water. The area is packed with restaurants and street food stalls. I strolled along the canal and Glico sign for people watching. Some foods I tried: Manneken Waffle at Nishinakajima This small Belgian waffle kiosk is located near Nishinakajima-Minamigata Station. The waffles are freshly baked and smell amazing. I tried the original and chocolate flavour. It was crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside. Great for a snack. Tempura Makino at Shibata Tempura Makino is an affordable table concept of tempura restaurant where chefs fry each item fresh in front of you and serve it directly onto your tray. i had the Prawn and Vegetable combo Tempura. The batter is light, crispy, and not oily. The atmosphere was casual but the food quality was high. It’s visited the outlet at Shibata area near Umeda Station, so it’s convenient if you’re exploring central Osaka. #solotrip #travel #fuji #osaka
