It was a trip to Osaka, Japan 🇯🇵 We visited Osaka and explored some of the most photogenic spots in the city 📸 We started our day early at Osaka Castle, one of the most iconic landmarks in Japan. The morning light ⛅️ beautifully highlights the golden accents of the castle, and if you visit during cherry blossom 🌸 season, the pink blooms create a magical frame around it. We recommend arriving before 9 AM to avoid crowds and get the best shots of the castle reflecting in the surrounding moat 😍 📍1-1 Osakajo, Chuo Ward, Osaka, 540-0002, Japan We then explored the nostalgic streets of Shinsekai, where retro signs, colorful shopfronts, and the towering Tsutenkaku create fantastic street photography opportunities 📸 The late morning sun ✨ adds warmth to the neon signs and bustling alleys, making it the perfect time to capture the energy of this area 📸 We recommend trying kushikatsu (deep-fried skewers) while you’re here 🙌 📍1 Chome-18-6 Ebisuhigashi, Naniwa Ward, Osaka, 556-0002, Japan We also visited Dotonbori and it was the best decision. The golden hour light reflects beautifully on the canal, and as night falls, the neon signs come to life, creating an electric atmosphere perfect for photography ✨ The famous Glico Man sign and the reflections on the water make for some of the most iconic shots of Osaka. I would recommend bringing a tripod for sharp night shots 🌙 📍1 Chome-9 Dotonbori, Chuo Ward, Osaka, 542-0071, Japan For a breathtaking panoramic view of the city, we visited the Umeda Sky Building’s Floating Garden Observatory. Arriving around sunset 🌇 gave us the best shots of Osaka’s skyline transitioning from day to night.
