Visitors enter through narrow alleys leading to a central courtyard, which serves as the main exhibition area. During the day, the interplay of greenery and white walls creates captivating light and shadow effects. At night, the stage comes alive with spectacular performances and circular projections on the building, presenting a magical atmosphere reminiscent of "One Thousand and One Nights." Interestingly, the pavilion highlights the growing popularity of Japanese anime in Saudi Arabia. With one-third of the youth particularly fond of series like "Demon Slayer," anime collaborations have fostered cultural and industrial connections between Saudi Arabia and Japan. Designed by 59 Productions and Squint/Opera, the pavilion emphasizes sustainability with features like solar power generation, rainwater harvesting, and lightweight Saudi stone walls that can be recycled after the exhibition. Inside, visitors can explore exhibits showcasing 3D-printed coral reef restoration and the music industry, aligning with the pavilion's theme, "Together Towards the Future." The product exhibition area is especially impressive, resembling a luxurious boutique. For the best experience, avoid the daytime crowds and visit after 7 PM for quick entry and stunning nighttime projections and performances.
