Don't miss this off-the-beaten-path hiking route in Lugu Lake - Asha Valley!

Asha Valley means "Lover's Valley" in the Mosuo language. Doesn't it sound romantic? This place is a masterpiece of nature. The valley is covered with lush trees and flowing streams. You can hear the sound of the streams as you walk along the path. The fresh air fills your lungs, and you feel like your body and mind are healed by nature. This hiking route is very friendly to beginners. It is full of vegetation and has a high oxygen content, making it a great place for beginners to experience high-altitude hiking for the first time. However, everyone has a different physique, so you should still do what you can. Along the way, there are streams beside you, and the sound of the water is very relaxing. As you walk further, you will see a small lama temple, and the waterfall next to it is amazing! As you continue up, you will see moss waterfalls one after another, full of natural beauty. Do you see the majestic waterfall rushing down? Above it is the water source, which is one of the sources of Lugu Lake. The surrounding area is full of prayer flags, making it a sacred place for locals to pray for blessings. The entire route is 3 km round trip, with an elevation from 2,700 m to 3,000 m.
