#outdooradventure#nature#sarawak#nationalpark The Niah National Park is nestled in: 📍98200 Miri, Sarawak. The park is known for the site where the oldest human remains were discovered. It has multiple caves with impressive and archeological sites. We had hikes about 6 hours to reach the Niah Cave. I literally love the natural surroundings, there is dense primary rain forest which is home to many species of plants and wildlife. If you are lucky enough, you can spot some wild animals such as Hornbill, Monkeys and various type of insects and snails. One of the reasons Niah became World Heritage Site is there are 7 types of burials at the Hell Trench where the Deep Skull was found. I'm truly enjoyed learning about the 40000 year old Deep Skull. Overall, it was really an appealing and challenging outdoor adventure! ⏩ Visitors must register first, admission ticket for Malaysian is RM10, also prepare RM2 for the boat ride before the hike. ⏩ Be noted to bring a torchlight, drink and good walking shoes, plus gloves to hold on to the railings as there is a lot of bat poop. 🕰️ Operating hours: Monday to Sunday including Public Holidays – 8.00am to 5.00pm. Day Trip Visitors – 8.00am to 3.00pm.
