Wat Huakhueng, Nan Province

Wat Hua Khwang is located on Maha Phrom Road, Nai Wiang Subdistrict, Mueang Nan District. It is an important temple in the Hua Waen area of ​​Nan Province. It is located near Ho Kham or the Nan National Museum. There is a chapel and a pagoda with local Lanna art styles. The craftsmen of Nan Province are exquisite and beautiful. It is not known when this temple was built. There is only evidence that it was renovated around 1882 by Chao Anantaworaritdet, the governor of Nan Province. Later, around 1929, during the reign of Chao Maha Phrom Surathatha, the last ruler of Nan.
