Spotting elephants in Xishuangbanna!

Xishuangbanna is home to some of China’s most beautiful natural scenery and one of the best places to do that is the elephant sanctuary! It’s a short taxi ride from the night market area and opens at 8am. I would recommend getting there for the opening time and getting a cable car to the other side of the park. When I did this, it was very quiet and the elephants were in full view for about 90 minutes. There are also monkeys around the park that are very cute! There is an area at the front of the park that has coffee shops and restaurants. I think you could do the whole park in half a day. #nature #elephants #yunnan #china
