🍜 "Mensho Sakura" is a renowned ramen shop in Matsumoto, known for its rich and flavorful miso soup. We visited during the evening and had to wait in line for about 4-5 turns, but the wait wasn't too long. The soup here is incredibly rich, aromatic, and well-balanced. Another highlight is the noodles—they're chewy, soft, and perfectly textured. Another must-try is the gyoza, which we absolutely loved. The filling is well-seasoned and delicious. Highly recommended! How to order: While waiting in line, the staff will provide the menu for you to browse. Once it's your turn, purchase a ticket from the automatic vending machine, hand it to the staff, find a seat, and wait for your food to be served. Ramen prices range from ¥980 to ¥1,280. 💵 Note: Cash only. If you're still craving more, there's a vending machine outside the shop where you can buy food to take back to your room. Dishes we ordered: - Miso Ramen with spicy minced pork meat ¥980: This is the shop's No.1 dish. - Deluxe Miso Ramen with minced pork meat and garlic oil ¥1,280: Personally, I prefer the No.1 dish.
