Mae Kampong Trip, Chiang Mai

#LongHolidayTravelPlan On a long holiday, I had the opportunity to go up north to visit Mae Kampong, Chiang Mai Province. It was very beautiful and impressive. It is a small village but it gives great happiness to visitors. This trip, I stayed in Chiang Mai city and then continued to Mae Kampong. Follow me. 🧳Day 1 Travel 🌸Stayed at Lanna Dear Resort. It was already evening from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, so I decided to stay here first. The resort is outside the city, quiet, decorated in a Lanna style. The accommodation is beautiful, but a bit expensive. 🧳Day 2 Heading to Mae Kampong When I arrived, I took a leisurely walk in the village. The air was great. It is a small village but interesting in every corner. 🌸Check-in point: "Here is Mae Kampong" sign. See the Lanna-style houses by the stream. You can hear the sound of flowing water very pleasantly. 🌸Mae Kampong Temple. Walk along and you will find Mae Kampong Temple. Worship and make merit. See the church in the middle of the water. 🌸Evening walking street. Each house comes out to sell food. There are restaurants and local food. Must-try dishes are kai paam, sai ua, sai yang, and khao jee. 🌸Stay in Mae Kampong Day 3 Before returning 🌸In the morning, go see the popular view at Balcony View Cafe. You can take the service car at the service point or walk. The distance is about 1 km. But there is a slope uphill. It is good to walk and see the view. 🌸Ted du coffee Go see a cafe in the forest. There is a rope bridge for walking and seeing the view from a high angle. It is not far from the service point. 🌸Royal Project Tin Tok On the way down, stop by the Royal Project Tin Tok. See the view and flowers and then travel back. 📍📍During the long holiday, there are many tourists. It is difficult to find parking. If you do not stay overnight, it is recommended to park at the car park before reaching the village. There will be a car service to the village. 🌸🌸It was a very impressive trip.
