2025 Luoyang Shendu Lantern Festival: Who is the "Traffic King"?

The 2025 Luoyang Shendu Lantern Festival has come to a perfect end! At the four main venues of Sui-Tang Luoyang City Scenic Area, Sui-Tang City Ruins Botanical Garden, Wangcheng Park, and Daozhan Village, people enjoyed the lanterns and immersed themselves in the strong New Year atmosphere of Luoyang in the Tang Dynasty. It was a blast! 🤩 This year's Luoyang Lantern Festival was a "battle of the gods," with each venue being absolutely amazing! Wangcheng Park, a favorite of Luoyang locals, is full of nostalgia. With themes such as "Lanterns Shine on the New Year," more than 60 sets of large and medium-sized lanterns were set up. The "Glazed Palace" was as cold and beautiful as a goddess, the "Blessing Goddess" was as lively as a fairy, and there were also super cute animal-shaped lanterns. No wonder it attracted many families and young people to check in. It was simply amazing! The Sui-Tang City Ruins Botanical Garden has been gaining momentum in recent years and has become a new favorite. This year, there were more than 80 sets of lanterns. The "Treasure Corridor" showcased the charm of national treasures, and the "Flower Language Forest" was so romantic that it felt like stepping into a fairy tale world. Literary youth and families with children loved it and came here to take photos and post them online, creating stunning pictures in no time. The Sui-Tang Luoyang City Scenic Area is a must-visit place for tourists from other places. The lantern exhibition was themed around national tide beasts, with many intangible cultural heritage lanterns. History and culture enthusiasts couldn't resist and felt like they had traveled back in time, experiencing the full charm of the past. Daozhan Village was also impressive. After its rebirth, it created giant lanterns themed around mythological stories such as "The Ode to the Goddess of the Luo River," bringing unprecedented surprises to tourists seeking new experiences. It was a treasure trove of check-in spots. However, overall, the Sui-Tang Botanical Garden successfully replaced the long-standing king, Wangcheng Park, with its rich lanterns and many fun activities, becoming the most popular check-in spot at this year's Luoyang Lantern Festival. It was loved by people of all ages and was the "Traffic King"! When the thousand-year-old Shendu collides with modern creativity, traditional culture instantly becomes a top trend!
