A great day out for the whole family. Loggerheads Country Park!

As we all know, the Earth is a beautiful place. There’s so much to see and explore. As you probably know, I love to travel and explore the different cultures of the world. But, I also appreciate the beauty in nature that can be explored close to come. The UK has so much to offer when it comes to natural beauty and destinations to visit! Here, I explore Loggerheads Country Park in North Wales. Loggerheads is in the foothills of the Clwydian Range and offers picturesque scenes and trails alongside the banks of the River Alyn. There is a lot to discover here, from the old corn mill that ran during Victorian times, to the Devil’s Gorge, an impressive 30 metre high gorge that is sits in the middle of two limestone walls. In the current climate, it can be hard to find days out for the family on a budget. This place has it all! It’s ideally situated for visitors and tourists from the North West of England, and it can be easily reached by those living in North Wales and the Midlands too. Once you’re here, there is a car park and cafe on site, alongside a large picnic and recreation area. It’s brilliant to know that you don’t have to go far out of the city to discover the great outdoors and see what this beautiful country has to offer!
