Knossos. Europe’s Oldest City!

Welcome to Knossos, in Crete. Knossos is widely known as Europe’s oldest city. It’s a stunning place to wander around and ponder on who walked along the walkways and walls that can be found here. It is also surprisingly well preserved, considering that it was thought to have been built around 1900 BCE and was then abandoned in the 12th Century BCE. That means it has lain desolate for well over 3000 years! Take a walk alongside these ruins whilst on your trip to Crete.
