Travel around Malaysia and the world from a train window! A trip on the Malayan Railway

#OverseasTransportation This time, I will introduce how to use the Malayan Railway🙆♀️When planning to go sightseeing from Kuala Lumpur to Penang Island or Langkawi Island around the New Year, I really recommend the train, using the bus, train, and boat. So, I have summarized it briefly! ! ! ! The second picture is the on-board sales shop! ! It's kind of exciting, isn't it? I don't need it, but I wanted to buy it🙆♂️ ——————-————————————————-————- 🔴From Kuala Lumpur to Penang (Butterworth Station)🚃 [KTM Railway Kuala Lumpur → Penang (Butterworth)] Time: About 4 to 5 hours Price: RM50 to 70 (varies depending on class) Departure station: Kuala Lumpur Sentral (KL Sentral) Arrival station: Butterworth *From here, transfer to a ferry to the main island of Penang (There is a ferry from Butterworth Station, so just follow the signs at the station to get there) Here is how to get from Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi by train + boat: —————-————————————————-———— 🔴From Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi Train🚃Taxi🚕Ferry⛴️ KL Sentral → Arai Station Train: About 5-6 hours by KTM ETS Fare: About RM70-RM100 (depending on seat class) Taxi🚕 Aro Station → Jetty Kuala Perlis Transportation: About 10 minutes by taxi or Grab 15-20 minutes Fare: about RM10-RM15 Ferry⛴️ Kuala Perlis Port → Langkawi Island (Kuah Jetty) Ferry: about 1 hour Fare: around RM23-RM30 It seems like a pretty tough route, but because of the New Year holidays, the train from Kuala Lumpur was fully booked when I looked two weeks ago, so I took this route back from Langkawi to Kuala Lumpur. I also used the bus, but ⚠️I don't recommend taking the bus from Kuala Lumpur! I know it's the busy season of the New Year holidays, but even if you go an hour before, it's still too late to check in and get a ticket. The bus station in Kuala Lumpur is really crowded, so I think the bus to Kuala Lumpur is a good option🙆♀️ If you're going to Malacca, you have no choice but to take the bus, but if you choose a bus in Malacca, there are some that run on time, and the bus stop is easy to find. The bus is so shaky that if you hit the driver, it feels like your life is in danger, so I don't recommend riding long distances. On the bus from Penang to the ferry terminal to Langkawi Island, I jumped up so high that my head almost hit the ceiling. All the buses I took this time, a total of five times, did not have seat belts. Since safety is my number one priority, I always wear a seat belt on buses overseas, but since it doesn't work anymore, I just cry and pray that I don't want to die. So I recommend the train! [Reservation] You can make reservations on the Malayan Railway website. You can also do it on the Malayan Railway app! You can make reservations at major stations, but they are fully booked during busy periods, so I recommend checking in advance. #KualaLumpur #PenangIsland #Langkawi #kualalumpur #penang #langkawi
