Wat Phra Chedi Sawlang

Wat Phra Chedi Sao Lang, Lampang Province This is an ancient temple in Lampang with a mix of Burmese and Lanna art. The largest chedi is located in the center, surrounded by 19 other chedis, making a total of 20 chedis. Each chedi is a small Burmese-style architecture with a shiny gold color. It is located on a square base. The top of the chedi is beautifully decorated with an umbrella. It is believed that inside each chedi is a hair relic. Beside the chedi group is a small chapel, which enshrines a bronze Buddha statue in the meditation posture in the Chiang Saen style.
