Basking in the mesmerizing beauty of Labuan Bajo

📅 Itinerary Day 1: Arrive at Komodo airport, check in hotel Day 2: Private boat trip Day 3: Hire a cab to go around the town. Fly out in the evening. 🏨 Accommodation Meruorah Hotel for the unbeatable seaview and strategic location 🍴 Food Recommendations: Taman Laut for grilled seafood and Indonesian cuisine La Cucina for authentic Italian fare Warung Se'i Babi Om Bai, for the famed Flores pork fried rice 📌 Tips There is no grab/gojek car in Labuan Bajo. Renting a motorcycle is a good option to roam the town freely. Alternatively, hire a chauffered car for half a day (starting Rp500,000) or a full day (starting Rp750,000) For an island tour, I strongly recommend chartering a private boat (Rp11,500,000 for 13 hours, fits up to 10 people, excluding entrance fees to Komodo Island) as you can avoid the crowds and travel at your own pace

Labuan bajo

Journey to Flores' Adventure Hotspots! 🛥️🌴🌺 Golo Mori, Padar Island, and Pink Beach form the golden triangle of Labuan Bajo explorations—think rugged cliffs, dazzling pink sands, and pristine sea teamed with breezy island vibes. With AirAsia’s direct flight from Kuala Lumpur, adventure-seekers can skip the transit hassle and dive straight in! Begin at Labuan Bajo (7R7W+9P7, Golo Mori, Komodo): Embark on a liveaboard for the most immersive way to hop islands, spot flying fox sunsets, and occasionally dive alongside manta rays. Must-do: Walk the morning fish market and catch golden hour at Bukit Sylvia. Cruise onward to Padar Island (Komodo, West Manggarai): A sunrise trek up Padar’s steep trail reveals its famous three-colored bays—bring water and start before 7AM to beat the heat and crowds. Insta-worthy angle: The classic cliff photo with the winding beaches below (try panoramic shots for the full drama). Drop anchor at Pink Beach (East Nusa Tenggara): The sand sparkles with pink coral fragments—snorkel for rainbow fish and try the short hike to the viewpoint for stunning coastal shots. Best photos at midday, when sunlight intensifies the pink hues. Quick tips: Pack reef-safe sunscreen, swim shoes, and a dry bag for electronics. Liveaboards can be basic—double-check boat amenities, especially for longer trips! Weather can turn quickly, so a light rain jacket helps. Precaution: Currents are strong around Komodo—always heed local guide advice when swimming or snorkeling. #LabuanBajo #KomodoIslands #IslandHopping #IndonesiaTravel #LiveaboardAdventure
