Snow had piled up on the "Nade Cow" at Kitano Tenmangu Shrine in Kyoto.

The snow that had been falling for the past few days had piled up on the head and back of the "Nade Cow", and it looked cold. A red torii gate, white snow, and a blue sky. Snow piled up on the branches of early-blooming plum trees. The snow on the roof of the shrine was like a cotton hat. It was cold, but everywhere I looked was beautiful and fun. The plum grove at Kitano Tenmangu Shrine opened today, January 28th, but maybe because of the snow? ... Most of the plum trees hadn't bloomed yet, so I'll look forward to visiting the plum grove next time.
