A Stroll Around Shanghai | Kunshan's *Qingming Shanghe Tu*

| Kunshan's *Qingming Shanghe Tu*. The "Secrets of *Qingming Shanghe Tu*" scenic area, based on Zhang Zeduan's famous Northern Song Dynasty painting, *Qingming Shanghe Tu*, opened free to the public during the 2025 Lunar New Year period. It features 1:1 replicas of the painting's buildings, streets, and other scenes. It's also the filming location for the popular TV series, *The Code of Qingming Shanghe Tu*. Covering 146 acres, the area recreates 121 Song Dynasty life scenes, 152 buildings, and 21 streets from the original painting, including landmarks like the Rainbow Bridge and Kaifeng Mansion. Details like the curvature of roof ridges and street layouts have been meticulously researched and reproduced. Drive or use Baidu Maps to navigate to "99 Hanzhen Road, Kunshan City." Temporary parking is available nearby. If you want to experience the blend of millennial Song Dynasty charm and the Jiangnan water town, this is a worthwhile attraction. However, as a scenic area, it's still under development. Parking isn't very convenient, and the surrounding area is rather desolate. It's not too far from Zhouzhuang, so you can stop by if you're visiting Zhouzhuang.
