Dongchuan Red Land is located in Hongtudi Town, Dongchuan District, Kunming, Yunnan Province. It is one of the most representative natural landscapes in Yunnan Province and is known as the classic epitome of "Colorful Yunnan." This land is named after its unique red soil, which has undergone thousands of years of natural evolution. Under the long-term erosion of rainwater, elements such as calcium and sodium in the soil gradually leach away, while insoluble oxides such as iron and aluminum deposit, making the soil appear bright red and warm brown.
