The atmosphere was different because you could eat while looking right at the pyramids. Breakfast was great with fresh fruit and a variety of breads, and dinner was varied from traditional Egyptian cuisine to international menus. The grilled dishes and local food were especially impressive. Eating at the outdoor seating allowed you to fully enjoy the historical atmosphere of Egypt. The price range was on the high side, but it was worth it for a meal with a view of the pyramids.
