#Spring0yenTrip When I visited Izumo Taisha, the first thing that caught my eye was the magnificent torii gate. When I stepped into the grounds, I was surrounded by vast grounds and silence, and a sacred atmosphere was in the air. I was particularly overwhelmed by the size of the main hall and its presence. As I walked along the approach to the shrine, the scenery in harmony with the surrounding nature calmed my mind. Also, while feeling the weight of Izumo Taisha's history, spending time in the sacred space was a time to refresh both body and mind. After worshiping, I was able to experience the history and culture of Izumo by enjoying local specialties at the souvenir shops and teahouses around the grounds.
