I went sightseeing around Izumo Taisha in late February 2024. ① Izumo Taisha It was raining in the morning, but when I arrived at Izumo Taisha, the sky cleared up, and I felt the power that I couldn't help but think was a power spot. Of course, there were also charms and fortune-telling slips, and when I drew my fortune, it was very bad, so I drew it again lol The second one didn't have anything good written on it, but it didn't have anything bad written on it either, so I didn't draw a third one lol There were big frogs walking around the premises, and many birds such as ducks, which was soothing. ② Starbucks Izumo Taisha Store I went there because I wanted an Izumo Taisha store limited edition mug. Available in three colors: red, green, and white. After some deliberation, I bought the white and green. When I ordered drip coffee for the eat-in, they brewed it in a limited edition mug✨ The interior of the shop is spacious with a table-like feel and is elaborately designed, and the window seat with a view of the torii gate of Izumo Taisha Shrine is spacious and not at a counter, so it was very comfortable and I ended up staying for a long time. ③ Ofukuyaki Ofukuyaki is a specialty of Fukunowa in front of Izumo Taisha Shrine. It is not too sweet and it warmed my tired body after walking. They were just in the middle of baking it, so I waited a little and bought some freshly baked. There was free soba tea in the back of the shop, so I enjoyed it with it. It was not too sweet and not too big, so it was perfect for eating while walking around. You should also try the sample of the simmered fugu🐡 There is a bench in front of the shop where you can sit and eat. There are also many souvenirs available. ④ Three-colored Wariko Soba I tried the three-colored wariko soba that I had been interested in at Heiwa Soba Main Store. There were three types: grated yam, grated daikon, and tempura flakes. I love soba and have been to many soba restaurants, but this was very delicious✨ The portions are not too big, so many men ordered the rice bowl set. ⑤Inasa Beach A mysterious beach with a torii gate on top of a rock. The beach and the sea were very beautiful. You could also see the sunset in the evening. I'm glad that the parking is free☺️ ⑥Zenzai Izumo is the birthplace of zenzai! So I had some zenzai.
