Seaside temple in Hui An

#discoverchina Located right on the beach in Hui An, the Haichao temple is an interesting, modern temple that fuses patriotism with folk religion. The temple commemorates war heroes from China's revolutionary past and acts as a memorial for locals to visit and pay their respect. On the front of the temple one would see statues commemorating the brave heroes who gave up their lives. On the back of the temple is a larger stone engraving depicting their heroic acts.
