Wow stayed at the #St.RegisHongKong in Wan Chai for one night in mid-August and was looking forward to breakfast the next day. We were arranged to have breakfast in The Drawing Room. There are many types of breakfast, including Western, Chinese, and the less common Japanese style. You can sit down and wait for your food, without having to walk around like at a buffet breakfast. After placing the order, a basket of selected bread was delivered first, and the croissants were of good quality. The seasonal fruit platter has different combinations, and the pineapple in the latter dish is the sweetest and most delicious. The cheese and frozen meat platter has two types of cheese and three types of frozen meats. You can pair the cantaloupe from the fresh fruit platter with Parma ham. The first round was a Chinese breakfast. The abalone and chicken porridge has a soft and fluffy base, the abalone is not too small, and is just the right amount of softness and hardness. It is a must-try and recommended dish. As for dim sum, the steamer contained supreme shrimp dumplings, shrimp siu mai and mini lotus leaf glutinous rice, and the taste was just right. The seaweed lobster spring rolls were inferior to the ones I had at Run the night before. The St. Regis English-style poached eggs with fried spinach and asparagus is another recommended waffle dish. The English waffle at the bottom is baked crispy and paired with spinach and asparagus, which is healthy and nutritious. The Japanese souffle pancake looks good, but the texture is a little different from the souffle pancake that waffles are familiar with. As for drinks, Waffles had a cup of fresh milk coffee and the lemongrass detox water that was not shown on camera. The lemongrass detox water is worth a try. #foodie #localtourism #staycation
