"Forging and Casting" Exhibition @ Hong Kong University Art Museum

📍 MTR Hong Kong University Station (Exit A1)-Hong Kong University Art Museum Today we introduce "Hammering and Casting" at the University of Hong Kong Art Museum as one of the "Art Creation Startup" exhibitions. This project aims to explore artistic creation from the perspective of science and technology, and analyze how materials and techniques have created various artistic treasures in Chinese cultural history. The exhibition displays early Chinese bronze and silver treasures through the collection. Bronze castings are the most prestigious daily utensils and ritual vessels in Asian material culture. In addition to being used as ritual vessels, bronze vessels are also used for cooking or storage.
