MacLehose Trail Section 10

This time we introduce you to a moderately difficult hiking route, Section 10 of the MacLeod Trail located in Tai Lam Country Park. The route is the longest of the MacLehose Trails, covering a full 15 kilometers and taking five hours to complete. So do not challenge this route without a certain physical fitness! This time I was a little lazy and took the bus from Yuen Long to Tai Tong Shan Road Terminal and got off before setting off. I walked less than 3 kilometers and took four hours to walk to Tuen Mun city centre. This route is in good condition and basically runs through canals or flat roads, but because of the distance, it is recommended to have some hiking experience before challenging this route. With views of the Lobby Maple Grove and Thousand Island Lake, it’s a pretty fulfilling hike, though make sure to bring plenty of moisture! #LocalTravel #HikingRoute Recommendations
