MacLehose Trail Section 4: Cloudy Mountains and Sea of ​​Fog

We plan to hike the MacLehose Trail, a famous hiking trail in Hong Kong, which is about 100 kilometers long. So on a cooler day, we took the children to experience the fourth section of the MacLehose Trail. Take a bus from Sai Ying Pun, Hong Kong Island to Shatin, then transfer to bus 299X to Shui Long Wo Station. You will see the sign for MacLehose Trail Section 4 opposite the bus stop. This section is about 13 kilometers long and is expected to take 5-6 hours. There are flat roads, stone steps, and gravel throughout the route, and some sections require slow climbing. Because it requires constant climbing of mountains and consumes a lot of physical energy, beginners should travel in groups and do what they can. Go along the mountain road and enjoy the pleasant scenery. The children picked up long branches and used them as hiking poles and horses to ride on. They passed through the dense woods and met riders riding upwards. They had a lot of fun along the way. When we climbed to a high place, we encountered a sea of ​​fog. Piles and clumps of fog drifted in the wind, slowly dispersing and drifting away into the distance.
