Holiday destination - Ma Wan 1868

I have always had a soft spot for some European-style colorful cottages. In the past, we would check in and visit Pak Lap Village in Shek O or Sai Kung on holidays, but due to the remoteness of the place, it sometimes took a lot of time and energy. When I learned that a colorful hut resort integrating art and conservation was being built in Ma Wan, I was so excited. Because the transportation to Ma Wan is very convenient, you can take a ferry or bus, and it only takes about 15 to 30 minutes. This time we took a bus from Tsing Yi Station for about 10 minutes to Ma Wan 1868. Maybe because it is a weekday, there are not many tourists and the environment is very quiet and beautiful. Although many restaurants and holiday homes are not yet fully completed, there are still many check-in spots. This time we chose a new restaurant that we had never tried before. The decoration was very unique and it was a bit of a surprise. We called: 🌟Black truffle, brown mushroom, mushroom, rocket pizza The pancakes are mini pancakes, divided into about four pieces. The black truffle flavor is very fragrant, and the brushed cheese tastes good, which is suitable for vegetarians. 🌟Black pepper beef with garlic black truffle wheat fusilli The black truffle fusilli noodles looked good and were perfect for kids. I don’t know if it was because I was hungry, but I thought it tasted pretty good. 🌟Pistachio Cake The surprising pistachio cake has a layered texture, crispy chocolate crumbs and a rich pistachio flavor, and is not too sweet. 🌟Caramel coffee The caramel coffee was decent, and the latte art wasn't particularly outstanding, but it was nice to have a cup of coffee in such a beautiful environment. 🌟Freshly squeezed lemon soda My younger brother said that this lemon soda is very delicious and refreshing, very suitable for the hot weather outside, and very thirst-quenching and heat-relief. There is a big and cute manager named Polarbear in the restaurant. Some customers come here just to visit him. He is really well behaved. This time I came to this new landmark, I felt very free and comfortable. Looking at the beautiful scenery of Tsing Ma Bridge and the colorful cottages, I was able to temporarily relieve the usual suppressed pressure of life. After half a day of living a lively life, I hope I can have the opportunity to come here for a day vacation next time.
