Misen, located on Miyajima Island, is 535 meters above sea level and is the main peak of Miyajima Island. It is listed as a World Heritage Site together with Itsukushima Shrine. In addition to visiting the Great Torii on the Sea, it is also highly recommended that you challenge yourself to climb to the highest point of Miyajima Island and overlook the Seto Inland Sea. There are three different hiking trails to choose from in Mishan. Each trail takes about 2 hours to complete, depending on your physical fitness.
