Spend a relaxing weekend at Miyajima, one of Japan's three most scenic spots

Take a day trip from Osaka to Hiroshima by Shinkansen. Take a 10-minute ferry ride from Miyajimaguchi Station to Miyajima. At this time of year, it's bustling with foreign tourists and school trip students. I recommend visiting first thing in the morning.
