Value for money: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🛏️ The room size is on the smaller side, but the interior hardware is relatively new. It's considered one of the higher value-for-money and newer Marriott hotels in the West Lake District/City Center area, as others are quite outdated, with more updates to follow. There's a gym and laundry room on the 5th floor, with complimentary laundry detergent and a garment steamer provided. 🍽️ The restaurant is on the top floor, the 19th, without much of a view, but offers free breakfast. The breakfast is a buffet mix of Chinese and Western options, with a decent variety of choices, and both the taste and service are pretty good. There are many down-to-earth restaurants nearby, but no major shopping districts. 📍 Located in the city center, between Wulin Road and Xixi Wetland, the transportation is quite convenient, and it's very close to West Lake. ⚠️ 1) Remember that when summer just starts, the actual temperature is already quite hot, but the hotel's central air conditioning only blows air without cooling, not sure if it's to save on costs. This happened several times, making the stay inside quite stuffy and hot; 2) Rooms facing the street at night can be a bit noisy, and the window sound insulation is mediocre.
