Found it! This beef hot pot restaurant on Yuanjing Road in Guangzhou didn't disappoint!

Went there with friends over the weekend near Yuanjing Road and found this decent little spot specializing in Chaoshan-style beef hot pot. Honestly tasted pretty good - basically no disappointments! When we arrived, it wasn't too crowded. The place has two floors, and since there were people smoking downstairs, we chose the second floor which was less crowded and smoke-free. The environment was quite nice with private rooms available. There's a self-service condiment station where you can mix your favorite dipping sauces! The broth is made from beef bones. We ordered various cuts including top blade, fresh meat, ribeye, and fatty beef - all of good quality with clear marbling visible. Just needs quick dipping in the broth (don't overcook or it gets tough - tender is better). The meat slices were generously sized and truly delicious! Their beef balls were also quite good with a nice bounce, though could be juicier. The tripe came out crispy after dipping - really tasty too. Overall, it was a very satisfying meal!
